Made 81km today. Took 4hrs actual riding but 8hrs all up
Train from Amsterdam to Amersfoort and then rode non stop to Otterlo.
Bought lunch supplies from Spar and ride into De Hoge Veluwe National Park. The largest park in The Netherlands at 55 sq km.
Supposed to have lots of wildlife but only heard the birds, no deer or boar sightings for me.
The park museum has a large Van Gogh exhibition, that was kinda cool. Otherwise the park was pretty to ride through. Went through forest, open grasslands and desert landscapes.
Passed through Arnhem but apart from the cathedral square not much else to see. Rode onto Njimegen to Barbarossa Hostel. Town seems cool, lots of young people about.
