Pizza, pasta, beer, pizza, wine, calzone and pizza.. what’s not to love 🙂
Nan & Pop arrived in time for lunch (pizza and beer) and so kept it simple and walked past the forum down to colosseum and back around to capitol hill. Â Walked on set with Inspector Rex – new series in Rome I’m guessing – pretty cool dog but in hindsight it really just could’ve been any old german shepherd… except he did have a bunch of film crew about all wearing Rex merchandise.. meh – decide for yourself!
As the sun went down, took a quick walk over to the river hoping for a bridge or two to catch in the light. Â With my amazing built-in GPS I took a wrong turn and walked parallel to the river for almost an hour before checking the map and realising it was two blocks to the left! Fail! Â Anyhow, made it there, took some pics and used my extensive Italian reading skills to decipher the bus timetable to get back. Â Met Jess halfway and ended up in a pub as the sole audience for a semi decent Italian reggae band.
