Mostly flat, winds still there but not as troublesome. Istanbul almost there now..
Day 53 – Kesan – Tekirdag
Relentless headwinds, long and very slow day
Day 52 – Alexandroupoli – Kesan
Windy as fuck
Day 51 – Fanari – Alexandroupoli
Long, slow but relatively easy day
Day 50 – Kavala – Fanari
Caught up with Swedish guy, rode to campsite by the beach
Day 49 – Stavros – Kavala
Flat and fast first half. Met Swedish guy en-route and cycled to Kavala together
Day 48 – Nea Moudania – Stavros
Caught in heavy rain, absolutely drenched. Tried to wait it out in Poligyros but eventually kept going
Day 47 – Thessaloniki – Nea Moudania
Late start on account of rear rim imploding and needing replacement. Spectacular sunset camping by the beach
Day 46 – Edessa – Thessaloniki
Hot. Very hot. Mostly flat but otherwise easy ride
