Flat and quick until the long hill at the end of the day. Made detour to the beach to see the Mediterranean and have a quick dip.

Long ride, hot day. Broke a spoke before lunch and got fixed with some other repairs and replaced parts.

Left Tim this morning to tackle 800m elevation in the first 90mins. Sweet sweet downhill all afternoon.

Left Linda & Paolo behind to tackle the Dolomites. Stopped for afternoon beer at a ski resort and checked out some lakes between the mountains.

Early border crossing into Italy and downhill most of the day. Long flat and hot coming into Bolzano.

Hard climb this morning with some beautiful views and a walk in the forest. High pass at 2149m.

Rainy and miserable day to continue this crazy alp climb. Reached Fluela Pass at 2383m.

1000m vertical as I start the alp climb. Pleasant ride but rainstorm after lunch made for a steamy afternoon.

Passed some lakes and pretty scenery but otherwise non eventful day.

Late afternoon start once Tim finally arrived. Good to ride with someone again.
